in South Florida. I am a proud FAU owl since I joined in 2020. Since then I
have had the pleasure of experiencing the coolest and also worst times in my life.
South Florida taught me a lot, because although I have been surrounded my whole life
by people who cared about me, I saw the strengths of community when I needed
protection, advocacy, and a shoulder to lean on the most down here in Soflo. There's a selfless community here and I yearn for every person struggling to have the opportunity and grace I received as I start my life here. Today, I am happy to rely on my brazilian roots that expose the beauty brought by the rhythm in culture. In South Florida, with all its contradictions and richness, my testimony continues unfolding. Through this platform, I bring you my lens on the places, people, and passions that make SoFLo a world of its own.
